It is not true that SAPS bought single torches for R300 000 each.

The media has it wrong.

The SAPS Forensic torches supplied by Forensic Data Analysts (FDA) as a complete set of Forensic Light sources with additional components. The criticism portrayed in the meida is unfair to SAPS and FDA.
